Commissioned by the HKB Literature Institute Biel, I collaborated with Loïc Berger to design a layout for the text “Wachen,” written by students of the Bachelor’s program in Literary Writing. The work was presented on January 16, 2025, as part of a collection of eight typographic interpretations. The goal was to make the text’s space, rhythm, and modulation visible. Thought inserts were isolated and set in a smaller, italic serif font, while the deliberately irregular ragged alignment reflects the text’s emotional tension. The edition demonstrates how we, through close collaboration, arrived at a clear, shared reading and typographic interpretation.
