How does an image move?
Does it carry rhythm? What traces does dance leave behind? How does music flow through bodies and paper? When is a movement complete? When is an image complete? Can small details make sounds visible? What happens when structures break down? Does intuition follow the next impulse? How does inner movement translate into form, colour, line? Do viewers also feel the movement?

The final painting and the accompanying video were shown as part of the Bildsprache exhibition at the School of Design Biel, including a guided presentation of the project.I worked mainly with acrylic paint, complemented by charcoal, oil pastel and fine pencil details. Additional pieces were created along the way, documenting the process.
Flux was developed over the course of one month, during which I explored how the inner physical sensation of dance can be translated visually. The main challenge was to capture movement quickly and directly, and then refine it with intention.
