What happens when a building starts to breathe?
For the Winter Fête at the Schlachthof, the music of three acts – Tomorrows Ghost, Oroboros and ïZLO – was translated into a visual performance. Prepared video clips ran on two VJ stations, modulated in real time with effects and connected via an Edirol mixer to form flowing, responsive layers of images. A third input came from an old camera that filmed the action in the room – musicians, audience, movement. This live image was projected outside onto the facade of the Schlachthof. Inside and outside merged, and the building became a projection screen for its own life.
