For a commission from the Dampfzentrale in Bern, we developed four posters that visually translate the Code of Conduct. I chose the vase as the central symbol – versatile, fragile, strong in form – and illustrated it in different states. Grid patterns contrast with the soft structure of the vase, which thus becomes an independent graphic object. The Code of Conduct only becomes apparent at second glance, while the vase immediately attracts attention. The darker, contrasting colours make the posters stand out as if in a spotlight and refer to the diversity of the Dampfzentrale programme.
